Important information for your loan through Northeast Bank.

Your loan has been transferred and assigned to Northeast Bank. Rest assured you’re in great hands. Northeast Bank is prepared to work with you to accommodate your banking needs and provide a high level of service. You should have received a Welcome Package via Certified Mail with information regarding payment methods, tax and insurance information, your new account officer and additional documentation.

We would like to clarify this transfer does not affect any of the terms and conditions of the subject Note(s) or associated loan documents, and Northeast Bank is now both the holder and servicer of your Note(s).

Frequently Asked Questions

Methods to make loan payments include the following:
  • Sending a check via regular mail to: NORTHEAST BANK, PO BOX 1707, LEWISTON, ME 04241-1707.
  • Sending a check via overnight mail to: NORTHEAST BANK, 35 CANAL ST, SUITE 500, LEWISTON, ME 04240.
  • Sending a wire. Please for instructions.
  • Send via ACH by completing the form on this page under 'Important Forms and Documents'. You can also use the form to adjust the account from which your monthly automatic payments are drawn and/or the schedule of your automatic payments.

Your previous servicer will forward any payments in transit to Northeast Bank.

This transfer does not affect any of the terms and conditions of your loan(s), other than Northeast Bank being both the holder and servicer of your loan(s).

You should receive your bill before the next due date of your transferred loan. If you have not received it close to the due date, please contact us at 1-800-284-5989, Email or via Live Banker - our secure video banking platform.

Northeast Bank requests that you send copies of your insurance information and most recent tax bill for tracking and/or escrow purposes. Please reach out to your account officer on how to securely transfer your information to Northeast Bank. You should also alert your insurance agent to change your mortgagee and/or loss payee to Northeast Bank.
