In addition, Northeast Bank employee volunteers will be onsite at the YWCA assisting with the receiving and distribution of donations throughout the coming week. “I don’t know how we would have managed without the support from Northeast Bank this week,” said Kathy Durgin-Leighton, Executive Director, YWCA of Central Maine. “Their volunteers have been extremely valuable to us as we establish a critical response center for the fire victims.”

“Northeast Bank is offering both our time and financial support to help the victims of the Blake Street apartment fires in Lewiston,  by opening our branches as drop-off locations, donating needed funds, and providing our employees to volunteer at the YWCA,” said Jim Delamater, President and CEO of the Northeast Community Banking Division. “Lewiston is home to Northeast Bank, and we are here to support our community in times of need,” continued Delamater.
