Northeast Bank announced today that it has expanded its Lewiston-based Customer Service Center, adding six new positions over the past five months and extending its support hours to seven days a week. Customers now have access to a live support specialist from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Continuing its support for community members and programs, Northeast Bank has donated $1000 to SeniorPlus for their Meals on Wheels program.
The Meals on Wheels program from SeniorPlus delivers daily meals to homebound seniors in the Franklin, Oxford, and Androscoggin County areas with the support of volunteers and donations. Northeast Bank’s contribution will be used to purchase food, pay for meal preparation and volunteer mileage reimbursement.
Kevin Carbin, a Certified Financial Planner ™ Professional for Northeast Financial, located at Northeast Bank, has received the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
With this new certification, Carbin will be able to design, install, and maintain retirement plans for the business community, helping area business and employees understand and choose the right retirement plans for them.
As part of its commitment to social responsibility and concern for its community, Northeast Bank donated $500 to the Good Shepherd Food-Bank.

Northeast Bank Insurance Group’s Scarborough office has moved to 383 US Route 1, Scarborough, ME 04074 effective Monday, November 29, 2010. The new location will house the Scarborough insurance office’s current staff which includes George Gould, Anita Turcotte, Sally Stowell, Matt Vaillancourt, Millie MacDonald, and Heidi Villacci. In addition, Northeast Bank will add commercial and residential lending specialists in the coming months, providing access to a wide range of financial services.
Northeast Bank announces the appointment of Colette Twigg-Rowse to Senior Credit Officer for the company by unanimous vote from the Board of Directors. Twigg-Rowse has been the Director of Credit and Operational Risk in the Risk Management Division for Northeast Bank since 2005. In addition to her current duties, she will assume oversight of the Loan Review process at the bank.
