Northeast Bank Contributes $1,500 to the United Way of Oxford County

Northeast Bank announced today a $1,500 donation to support the United Way of Oxford County. This donation will help support two major fundraising events through the organization – the Triple Crown Series and a Rice & Beans event.

“The United Way of Oxford County is a well-respected organization known for its highly effective work in unifying and strengthening communities.” said Jeanne A. Hulit, President of the Community Banking Division. “We are fortunate to have an organization of its caliber in Oxford County and are pleased to be supporting them.”

The United Way of Oxford County was formed in 1989 and has since invested more than a million dollars into the area. Their top initiatives include: Backpack Project, Food Pantry Project, Day of Caring, Family Wize, and Maine 2-1-1. This past July, the Northeast Bank South Paris branch served as one of the locations for the Food Pantry Project.
