Northeast Bank announced today a $10,000 donation to support Junior Achievement of Maine (JA). This donation will help support two major fundraising initiatives – the Titan Challenge and Maine Business Hall of Fame Gala – as well as JA programming in the Augusta area.

“Supporting the financial education of our youth is a top priority at Northeast Bank.” said Jeanne A. Hulit, President of the Community Banking Division. “We are proud to partner with Junior Achievement in this effort and are hopeful that our contribution makes a difference.”

Junior Achievement of Maine partners with local schools and businesses to provide financial education for all students, from elementary to high school. Through a wide array of programs, including JA in a Day, and the Titan Challenge, communities are able to come together to better prepare the younger generations for a financially stable future.
