Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response Efforts

Northeast Bank is closely monitoring the evolving situation related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Moving forward, we will provide regular updates on this page as our response efforts adapt to customer needs.

 

IMPORTANT UPDATE - APRIL 23, 2020

To ensure the safety of our employees, customers and vendors, our Brunswick Banking Center temporarily closed on Tuesday, April 7 and reopened Friday, April 10.

We were alerted that our Brunswick staff may have been exposed to COVID-19 and took precautionary measures including disinfecting all work areas and customer engagement surfaces before reopening the Brunswick Banking Center. All affected employees were placed in 14-day quarantine and supporting staff from neighboring banking centers were onsite when we reopened. 

Subsequently, all affected employees did not experience COVID-19 related symptoms, completed their 14-day quarantine and returned to work.

 

IMPORTANT UPDATE - APRIL 23, 2020

To ensure the safety of our employees, customers and vendors, our Poland Banking Center temporarily closed on Tuesday, March 24 and reopened Monday, March 30.

We were alerted that our Poland staff may have been exposed to COVID-19 and took precautionary measures including disinfecting all work areas and customer engagement surfaces before reopening the Poland Banking Center. All affected employees were placed in 14-day quarantine and supporting staff from neighboring banking centers were onsite when we reopened.

Subsequently, all COVID-19 testing was negative and affected employees completed their 14-day quarantine and returned to work.

Employee and Customer Wellbeing  

Our Facilities and HR teams are proactively working with all banking center and corporate offices to ensure they have enough cleaning supplies on hand, and all locations are sanitized multiple times per day. All employees have been briefed on our COVID-19 response efforts and will follow CDC-approved guidance when engaging customers.

In addition, we have established a company-wide reporting process to identify any employee with emerging symptoms consistent with the flu or COVID-19 and will take immediate actions to reduce exposure to other team members. We will impose a CDC-recommended self-quarantine for those presenting symptoms or returning from locations of concern.

Business Continuity

Our response team meets daily to review the latest developments and proactively adjust our business continuity plans to ensure customers have access to funds or can connect with a Northeast Bank customer service representative. Any updates to our banking center or customer contact center hours will be posted on this page.

24/7 Account Access

All Northeast Bank customers can access accounts 24/7 via our online and mobile banking tools to view balances, pay bills, transfer funds, or deposit checks.
