Important Announcement from NACHA - November 12, 2009
Random individuals and/or companies may have received a falsified e-mail with the subject title “Rejected ACH Transaction.” This e-mail appears to be from NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association telling them that there is a problem with an ACH transaction they have originated. The e-mail includes a link which redirects the individual to a fake web page which appears like the NACHA website and contains a link which is almost certainly executable virus with malware.
This is a false email and did not come from NACHA. Click below to see a SAMPLE email:
Automated Message Scam - March 31, 2009
Northeast Bank has been alerted that customers and non-customers are receiving a phone message stating that their NEB cards have been compromised and that they need to press (1) in order to reactivate the card.
Please be aware that NEB would never contact customers in this way and that this is a scam to compromise their personal information.
As always, remember that we will never ask you to provide your personal security information via email, telephone, fax or via the mail. PIN Numbers and passwords should only be known to you. No Northeast Bank employee would ever ask you for this information.

If you have immediate questions regarding your account or want to report suspicious activity, please contact Customer Care at 1-800-284-5989, option 1.
